Food Sensitivity

Food Sensitivity is said to be one of the most common problems in the present society even though most of the people do not understand if they have any. When you perform a food elimination diet program you can easily discover what your food sensitivity is. This can be done by avoiding a particular food from your daily diet for at least 6 weeks then later reintroduce that food and see how would be your feeling. Chocolate, dairy products, wheat, gluten, soy, corn etc are some of the common food sensitivities however it can be any other food as well. Gillian Mckeith talks about this a lot in her show on Channel 4.

Food sensitivity is in fat associated with many types of diseases. According to some of the studies it has been revealed that patients with abnormal MRI and gluten sensitivity experience unsteadiness, gait ataxia and episodic headache. Dimentia is also been associated to gluten allergies. It has been seen that high levels of antigliaden antibodies were in fact found in some patients with neurological dysfunction and even with the early stage of dementia. Type 1 diabetes is also linked with dairy sensitivity. Studies reveal that the milk protein “bovine serum albumin” is responsible for the onset of diabetes.

High levels of cow’s milk consumed during childhood days can raise the risk of Type 1 diabetes. Even the shortage of stomach acids can also be associated to food sensitivities. According to a study, the usage of medications in order to eliminate stomach acid has been found to raise food allergies. Even though few medications cure the problem of food allergies, if your bodies do not produce its own stomach acids then it is likely to increase the risk of food allergies.
