3 Mobile to Give Users in the UK a New Way of Connecting
3 mobile has recently come out with the MiFi, a small cell-powered mobile broadband router. It comes in two 18-months schemes. One is a 5GB usage per month for £15 along with £69.99 for the device, and the other is a 3GB usage over 3 months for £99.99, which comes with the device, and is known as the ‘Ready to Go’ scheme.
The device has been in circulation in the USA, but 3 mobile’s MiFi is the first cell- powered router to be distributed in the UK. It allows you to hitch up five different gadgets or users to the 3 mobile broadband connection. There are no wire issues, the usage is simple, and the router is smaller than a cigarette pack.
There are a number of benefits to using the MiFi. It allows more than one gadget to connect to the WiFi network, and the connection takes up less power than 3G. This means individual gadgets that connect to WiFi using the MiFi will store more battery and will thus last longer than if one were to connect to WiFi using a mobile broadband internet network through 3G.
Thus, a bunch of people can now sit together and gain access to WiFi at the same location even if there is no WiFi connectivity at that location, and they will be able to do so for a longer time.
