Poker Backing

One common wish you hear among non professional poker players is that they wish they had a financial backer. I’ve heard many people claim that if they were using other people’s money, they’d be much more fluid with their online poker position, and could be that much more confident in bluffing and moves to play the exact kind of poker game they want to play. For these players, the fact that they are riding their own money makes it difficult to pull off big moves even when they feel it would win them the pot, in the event that if they are wrong they are facing true loss in their own books. This kind of logic, while perhaps nice to dream about, seems ridiculous to the true poker online player. Besides the fact that most players who are backed by a financier actually have to produce results, and therefore end up stuck paying back money they lose, playing under the fear of losing your own money versus someone else’s is a little silly. If you are playing out fear, you are pretty much destined to lose, and might not should be at the table in the first place. One of the first considerations for a player entering a game should be that he is comfortable with the amount he is liable to win or lose.
